Mad Minute Military Shoot

SUMMARY AND COURSE OF FIRE:  Team rifle shoot (teams chosen ad hoc) using any military rifle with at least a 10 round capacity magazine (ex. AK-47, AR-15, SKS), bolt-action rifles okay (ex. M1 Garand), slings allowed, battle sights only.  All shooting is done offhand at 50 yards in five stages.  Targets vary but are usually paper for two stages, clay pigeons for two, tiles for one.  Check out the pictures below!

EQUIPMENT:  Eye and ear protection, rifle, sling optional, open bolt indicator required (available for $1 if needed), approximately 60 rounds ammunition (plus ammo for sighters).

COST: Members and non-members $5.00.

WHEN:  Sundays, usually last of each month, April through October.  Registration and sighters at 12:00 p.m., match begins 1:00 p.m., ends approx. 4:00 p.m.   

2013 SCHEDULE:   April 28th, May 26th, June 23rd, July 28th, August 25th, September 29th, October 27th.

This shoot is for men and women, minimum age 12 years old. Children 12-14 welcome with adult supervision.

Look at how much fun you can have – come on out and give it a try.  Who knows, you just might enjoy yourself.  This game is loads of fun, and a chance to use that cheap SKS and ammo that you picked up at the gun show.
