SUMMARY AND COURSE OF FIRE:  Team rifle shoot (teams chosen ad hoc) using any military rifle with at least a 10 round capacity magazine (ex. AK-47, AR-15, SKS), bolt-action rifles okay (ex. M1 Garand), slings allowed, battle sights only; however, due to the high cost of ammunition, we have been allowing non-Military rifles with a capacity of ten rounds (22-caliber rifles are included). All shooting is done offhand “standing” at 50 yards in six 10-round stages with the exception of the September shoot, which is the same format but with pistols only at 15 yards. Targets vary but are usually paper for three stages, clay pigeons for two stages, balloons for one stage.  Check out the pictures below!

EQUIPMENT:  Eye and ear protection, rifle, sling optional, open bolt indicator required (available for $1 if needed), approximately 60 rounds ammunition (plus ammo for sighters).

COST:  $10.00.

WHEN:  Sundays, typically the fourth of each month (may change, please check the calendar or newsletter), March through October.  Setup begins at 11AM. Registration and sighters at 12:00 p.m., match begins 1:00 p.m., ends approx. 3:00 p.m.

This shoot is for men and women, minimum age 12 years old. Children 12-17 welcome with adult supervision.
